Áhkát - Bridal Crown
2023
20 years ago I made a sketch at the dinnertable of my grandmother. She was telling me about her dreams, as she often did. This time she had dreamt of a silver diadem containing the old Sami godesses. She explained how it looked and I drew it. For 20 years I have saved this sketch as a memory. Now I decided to make it for my wedding day, and felt honored wearing it together with the silver jewelry of my late grandmother
Roahkki - Belt knuckles
2023
A special something for a special someone. Two beltbuttons of brass was a heritage of my husbands late mother. We wanted to include her on our wedding day so I decided to make buckles of silver with the brassbuttons encased into them. For the future it is also made to be able to detach the buttons if needed.
